Your Dial-up adapter is not functioning properly. Try to re-install it to resolve the problem.
If there is a problem with your modem, replace it with a new one.
If there is too much "noise" in your phone line and the modem cannot transmit your data (username & password) in its proper form try to lower your baud rate settings to enable your modem tolerate the line noise. The lower the baud rate, the more it is un-sensitive from line noise. |
